ColdDragon SF is a water-based, single-component (1k) intumescent coating for wood offering superior performances. Its white, opaque finish coats the substrate to protect it and act as a thermal barrier with its intumescent action that swells on contact with heat.
ColdDragon SF is a certified Class A flame retardant solution under CAN/ULC S-102 and ASTM E-84 for flame spread retardancy on wood products used in residential and commercial construction in Canada. In order to comply with the certification, the required application of ColdDragon SF on wood is 12 mils wet (WFT) or 6 mils dry (DFT).
